Jaya Schuerch (Santa Barbara, California 1958)

Nata in Santa Barbara, California il 19 marzo del 1958, cresce fra la California e la Svizzera. Nel 1986 viene in Italia a Pietrasanta, per imparare l’arte della lavorazione del marmo. Da questa data vive tra l’Italia, la Svizzera e gli Stati Uniti. Il suo lavoro è stato esposto in molti stati europei, in Asia e nei U.S.A. Ha partecipato a simposi di scultura per opere monumentali in Italia, Cina, Corea del Sud, Taiwan, U.S.A., Africa, Australia e Mexico.

Le sue sculture sono state acquistate da collezioni pubbliche e private in tutto il mondo.

Born in Santa Barbara on March 19, 1958, she grew up between California and Switzerland.

In 1986, she moved to Pietrasanta, where she learned the art of marble carving. Since then, she has lived between Italy, Switzerland, and the United States.

Her work has been exhibited in many European countries, as well as in Asia and the United States. She has participated in sculpture symposia dedicated to monumental works in Italy, China, South Korea, Taiwan, the United States, Africa, Australia, and Mexico.

Her sculptures have been acquired by public and private collections around the world.
